About Us
We searched for the right combination of terrain and climate conditions to allow us to establish plantings of Shiraz and Viognier as primary varieties along with Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to reflect plantings and conditions of the vineyards of the Rhone Valley region of France.
For us it has been a rewarding journey in improving what was once neglected land to provide a pleasant feature in this scenic valley located midway on the Midland Hwy between Hepburn Springs, Daylesford and Castlemaine.
We have taken advantage of the natural stony ridges passing through the vineyards to provide a unique stone walled cellar set into the ancient rock formations of shales and slate, covered by an insulated curved steel roof spanning over 16 metres.
The cellar door is located overlooking the vineyards and features a large screened and shaded area for visitors to sit at the huge yellow box slab tables and enjoy our wines
Cellar door is open Weekends and Public Holidays 11.30 to 5pm and also by appointment

Featured Wines:
- 2007 Shiraz
This rich full bodied shiraz has a deep purple colour with fruit flavours of plum and blackberries. Good balance has been achieved through maturing in new American oak barrels for 14 months, combined with fine tannins resulting in a well rounded palate lingering finish. Ready to be drunk now but further cellaring will be rewarded.
- 2009 Viognier
Fruit for this wine was hand picked early from our East Block to ensure freshness and a clean mouthfeel .Post fermentation excluded the use of oak resulting in a wine where the natural floral aromas emerge in abundance.
