Located just north of the Malmsbury township in the Macedon Ranges region known as “Australia's coldest climate wine region.”   Our grapes are grown on the northern slopes of the Great Dividing Range in the Central Victorian Highlands on a cold climate site of rich basaltic soils.  The 5 acre vineyard was planted to premium varieties — Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon, producing premium award winning wines.

Lord Malmsbury Vineyard employs green viticultural practices including:

• Unirrigated vines for maximum fruit flavour
• SOD viticulture
• Traditional spray application
• Open canopy management combined with leaf plucking to maximize fruit exposure and minimize disease
• Bunch thinning to maintain 2 tonne per acre yields
• Hand picking of grapes

Our wines are made using traditional wine making techniques with barrel aging, minimum filtration and bottle fermentation.   All our wines are released when they are aged and ready to enjoy.
