All are 100% estate grown, made and bottled, and show full flavours which richly reflect this special vineyard site. Cobaw Ridge are producers of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz / Viognier (Syrah) and the first commercial production of Lagrein in Australia. The owners are committed to quality: the vines are hand picked, hand pruned and hand tended and the wines are made with passion and crafted with care. Established in 1985 by Alan and Nelly Cooper, the vineyard is positioned in a natural amphitheatre, at an altitude of 610 metres above sea level. The sunny warmer northern slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the mineraly granitic sandy soil play a major part in the success of the vines.
