John Boucher and Pauline Russell set about establishing Kyneton Ridge Estate in 1997, after an extensive search for the perfect location to establish a first class vineyard.

Today, Kyneton Ridge Estate is a leading boutique winery, boasting a range of award winning elegant cool climate wines. The well-established estate is picture postcard perfect, complete with stunning views and incredible granite boulders.

Staying true to their personal histories, John followed in the winemaking footsteps of his Great Grandfather, Grandfather and his Uncle, making John the fourth generation and his son Luke, the fifth generation of family winemakers.  Pauline bought the location, as her paternal great grandparents were married in Kyneton in 1864 and her grandparents were both born in Kyneton.

The café style cellar door overlooks the twin dams and has amazing views to Mount Alexander and Green Hill.   Outside of Budburst, open weekends and public holidays you can enjoy wine tasting with the wine maker, platters and wood fired pizza.  There is a function room for weddings, parties and corporate events.

Just one hour from Melbourne, Kyneton Ridge Estate is only 8 kilometres from the historic town of Kyneton.  The cellar door is an ideal destination for both the serious and not so serious wine buffs.
