John and Pauline look forward to welcoming you to our winery and cellar door, which was featured on post cards November 2008, and invite you to experience our hospitality and wine over the Budburst weekend.Kyneton Ridge Estate is one of the Macedon Ranges wine region’s hidden gems (and a favourite of locals in the know) and is quickly consolidating its reputation as one of the premium wine producers and destinations in the Macedon Ranges. The location is easily found about 5km east of Kyneton and the Calder Freeway with access from the Kyneton to Heathcote road. Three of our wines scored medals in the coveted Small Winemakers Awards 2008 and our Chardonnay 2006 received a Gold Medal in the 2009 awards which are conducted annually by the Winewise magazine’ The wines have been foremost in this competition for several years. Definitely a visit not to be missed as on Budburst weekend partners John Boucher and Pauline Russell will be on hand to expand on their wine styles and the idyllic location they chose a decade ago for their bed and breakfast, vineyard and winery project. With stunning views over the region, elegant wines and delicious food, a visit to our Estate is sure to make a great day out. Saturday: Start your day with Brunch on the deck overlooking our vineyard and stunning views. Sunday will feature Hardrive playing some great Blue Grass music bookings recommended And a Mediterranean style menu concentrating on dishes matched to our wines including duck and some exceptional Italian style sausages produced locally.
