Attwoods make single vineyard wines from estate fruit and managed vineyards from Ballarat, Geelong and here at Glenlyon Estate, Macedon. Winemaker Troy Walsh's passion is to make cool climate, food focused, minimal intervention wines, reflective of vintage. Ultra boutique, making only 1200 cases a year, the philosophy is minimal intervention wherever possible to ensure expression of terroir. The cellar door at Glenlyon Estate is open Saturdays and Sundays for lunch and grazing boards, in the most idyllic surrounds to sit and enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the beautiful landscaping, orchards, vegetable gardens and picturesque dam.
