The Macedon Ranges Vignerons Association presents the 2026 SUMMERTIME FLING

A month Long celebration of everything wine, food and FUN being held across the Macedon Ranges from 9th - 31st January 2026.

Summer is here, which means it must be time for a fling. Up here in the naturally cool Macedon Ranges wine region, we work hard for our summertime and we want to bask in it … with you!

Join us for a month-long celebration of wine, summer and good times in the scenic Macedon Ranges wine region, as we welcome back our Summertime Fling Festival for the fourth year running.

Each weekend of the festival offers a different selection of events hosted by a number of our wineries across the region. Expect live music, outstanding local produce, good vibes and the long-awaited return of the Victorian summer sun. Most importantly, bank on our unbeatable selection of local wines, which are lovingly made in small batches with real wine-stained human hands.

Aperitivo Fridays @ Lyons Will Estate - 60 Whalans Track LANCEFIELD

Lyons Will are bringing the Italian art of pre-dinner drinks to their cellar door for the month of January. Friday Evenings @ Paramoor Winery - 439 Three Chain Rd CARLSRUHE

Ease into the weekend at Paramoor. Every Friday night through summer, they’re opening the doors for laid-back evenings on the farm, perfect for locals, families and anyone wanting an easy end to the week. They’ll be pouring their favourite Paramoor wines alongside cold beer and a couple of refreshing summer spritz options. If you’re feeling peckish, they’ll have a small selection of snacks to keep you going while you unwind. Drop in anytime from 4pm–9pm. Merth Vineyard pop-up @ Adeline - Trentham - 18 Market St TRENTHAM

Not all heroes wear capes - vino extravaganza @ Lyons Will Estate - 60 Whalans Track LANCEFIELD

This tasting event is an opportunity to check out some of the most exciting and new wine producers from Macedon Ranges. Hosted at Lyons Will, featuring four different producers all under one roof. Taste, buy a glass, or share a bottle while enjoying the afternoon sun.

Taste the Terroir @ Dilworth & Allain - 5 Howe st DAYLESFORD

Taste Dilworth & Allain wines from Macedon Ranges and surrounding areas. Hosted by Chris Dilworth accompanied by Barry Golding (author of the fantastic book titled Six Peakes Speak). Barry will provide a geological and historical context of the region whilst you compare the flavour profile from Granite soil and Basalt soil. This is a seated event that will dive into the intricacies of winemaking and farming. An event for those who enjoy the finer details in wine and local history. Summer long lunch @ Paramoor Winery - 439 Three Chain Rd CARLSRUHE

Paramoor are kicking off the year with something truly special: a long, lazy Sunday lunch at Paramoor, hosted by the incredibly talented Lorena Corso, head chef at Melitta Next Door, and the creative force behind the famed Mediterranean pop-up Sicilian Smokeout. Lorena brings the flavours of Sicily, Spain and North Africa to life with her bold, soulful cooking — and she’ll be bringing that magic to Paramoor for one delicious afternoon.
