A true cool climate vineyard, our family’s little block of close planted vines (10667 vines/hectare) lies on the lands of the Djaara people. At an altitude of 780m on the Southern end of the Macedon Ranges wine region, an area of deep and rich volcanic soil.

Rich and deep volcanic soils, that contain a naturally high level of minerals. In their natural state these volcanic soils can be quite acidic and lack balance, with a high presence of iron and aluminium oxides.
